2025 International Conference on Resource Sustainability - Responsible Innovation Management in The Digital Era (icRS RIDE 2025)

April 25-27, 2025, University of Nottingham Ningbo China

As the digital revolution forges new frontiers, it is increasingly clear that innovation bears a dual-edged sword, capable of both elevating and eroding business and management practices. The International Conference on Resource Sustainability (icRS) series serve as an international platform for researchers and practitioners around the world with diverse background and expertise to share the most recent ideas, outcomes, and practices on resource sustainability. The icRS RIDE 2025 on Responsible Innovation Management in the Digital Era is convened with the recognition that while innovation management has reshaped our interactions and economies, showcasing remarkable growth and potential, it also presents a myriad of challenges that must be navigated with caution and foresight.

The conference seeks to illuminate the path toward a future where innovations, particularly within the digital era, are managed with a deep sense of responsibility and ethical consideration. By examining the intricate interplay of business management, regulatory considerations and societal norms that impact responsible innovation management, we aim to foster a dialogue that promotes sustainable business models and practices that are sensitive to the needs of diverse global communities. As a call to scholars, industry leaders and policymakers to explore how responsible innovation can address and mitigate the darker aspects of technological advancement, this conference is dedicated to investigating responsible innovation strategies in marketing, management, supply chain, and entrepreneurship disciplines.

icRS embraces interdisciplinarity, welcoming contributions from ANY discipline including natural sciences, social sciences, and engineering on ANY aspect of resource sustainability. We define resource broadly, including physical resources, biological resources, and "misplaced" resources:

  • physical resources: metals, non-metallic minerals, energy, water, etc.
  • biological resources: food, forestry, land, ecological systems, etc.
  • "misplaced" resources: air emissions, water pollutants, solid waste, etc.
